Desperately seeking Supernanny

Ran into Target to pick up a few things. In less than 15 minutes, I witnessed three temper tantrums (from three different children), the kind that once caused sweat to pour down my body while holding a screaming baby in a department store (that was the last time I shopped with her until she was a teenager).

A girl of about 6 was flinging her scarf across an aisle and yelling at her mother that she "WANTS THAT". A toddler (or small animal of some sort) was shrieking while an older brother tried to restrain him. And a boy who looked to be 5 screamed at his mother that he hated her and was going to do whatever he wanted....which appeared to be flinging everything out of the cart. As we passed in the aisle, I felt so bad for her I said "it'll get better" and she said "it has to!"

Easy for me to say. Mine got better when they each reached adulthood. Boy am I glad that my little ones these days are grandchildren!
